Mr. Newkumet is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Regions Permian, where he oversees the company’s development opportunities and transaction negotiations. Prior to founding Regions Permian, Mr. Newkumet founded Regions Energy LLC in 2012. Under his leadership, Regions Energy has established itself as an industry leader by successfully acquiring significant asset holdings in the Permian Basin. Prior to Regions Energy, Mr. Newkumet worked as a Landman in the Barnett Shale for Dale Property Services, LLC, a land brokerage firm hired by Chesapeake Energy Corporation. Born and raised in Midland, Texas, Mr. Newkumet is a proud third-generation member of a well established family of oilmen. He holds a BBA in Finance and Economics from Southern Methodist University, where he was awarded the Frank L. Pitts Oil and Gas Scholarship from the Cox School of Business.

Mr. Whiteside is the President and Co-Founder of Regions Permian. Prior to Regions Permian, he served as Land Manager at Regions Energy LLC. Mr. Whiteside became an integral part of the Regions team, through sourcing and managing the development of acquisition and divestiture activities in the Permian Basin. Previously, he worked as a Landman for Anadarko with a focus in the Delaware Basin. Mr. Whiteside was born and raised in Midland, Texas, and is a third-generation member of a family of oil and gas professionals. He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas, Permian Basin.
Mr. Christensen serves as the Delaware Basin Land Manager at Regions Permian. Previously, he worked as a Landman for BTA Oil Producers and was instrumental in navigating BTA through an aggressive expansion of its position in the Delaware Basin. Born and raised in Midland, Texas, Mr. Christensen has over 10 years of experience as a Landman and he possesses multigenerational connections to the oil and gas industry. He graduated from Texas Christian University and is a proud member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and the Permian Basin Landmen’s Association.
